artists statement~~

It takes patience to get a decent photo but it takes imagination to get a great photo. As an artist I like taking pictures of people more than objects or landscape. I take pictures of people up close or far away. I like to show people their picture because it boosts their confidence. My photography is taken with people I love people I don’t know or with people I want to know. I can have their complete attention or catch them off guard.

When it comes down to editing I like to keep things simple such as boosting or fading the color. Having my picture is black and white or sepia. The way you edit your picture changes the mood of it. I go for a happy or calm look. I usually take pictures on sunny days but I sometimes switch it up and take photos on rainy days or during the night.

I hardly ever take a straight photo I love angles because it makes you look at the simplest thing in a new way. I have to say my favorite photography is street photography. I’m always on the streets and it never gets old to me. There’s always something different to look at. I like the streetlights especially after it rains because the lights reflect off of the water puddles and it looks absolutely beautiful.

As a future photographer I would like to take some professional pictures during concerts. Id like to take pictures of screamo bands and DJs. Also Id like to take photos at raves because the black lights and strobe lights would make the kandi kids dancing look amazing rather than normal lighting.

When people look at my photos I want to see smiles. Just one smile would make me happy.

to: robert witt....all i have to say is...
life is a playground..having fun is up to you..also note for the future..you need to know when to give up on people..its hard to do but for everything to work out sometimes people need to work on themselves.

(this picture is worth allot of lipstick) :D When you have allot to look at in a photo it makes people want to admire every little detail about it. You have to keep viewers interest so with this photo its kind of overwhelming and it has your eyes roaming at every object. I call this photo [[MATERIAL GRRL]]

Ive always loved what life looks like at night. It feels so care-free walking down the streets. I want other people to see through my photography what it means for me to walk home at night.

Every photographer needs to look at the most simplest thing from different views. Thats exactly what i was doing when i shot this image. It was a rainy day in highland village and it was beyond cold. I wanted to capture that moment and feeling in my photo.
